GoodWe Europe GmbH is the EMEA headquarter of GoodWe, based in Munich, Germany, addressing the entire EMEA region and markets.

 

The position is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking, action-oriented professional looking for new challenges within a dynamic, growth-oriented company.

 

The successful candidate will be focused on promoting GoodWe products and services while growing GoodWe market shares in Greece/Cyprus. You will interact with both existing and future customers in order to generate a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and the market requirements to ensure overall customer satisfaction. 

 

The position holder will report directly to MD of GoodWe Europe GmbH.

 

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for the role include (but not limited to):

 

•Define and implement the sales and service strategy as well as the sales channel strategy for your responsible markets. Identify, capture, and develop sales opportunities in accordance with GoodWe’s overall strategic plans and growth targets.

•Be a major contributor to achieve GoodWe’s sales targets in your  region.

•Negotiate and implement local contractual agreements (pricing, logistics, quality etc)

•Actively pursue sales leads with EPCs, Project Developers, IPPs, distributors, wholesalers, installers and utility companies, and nurture strong and resilient business relationships with them at multiple levels, to ensure that GoodWe remains the supplier of choice for PV power conversion electronics in their projects.

•Make a positive and compelling presentation of the products/ services driven by your in depth understanding of the market and the product / services features / advantages for the specific prospect

•Successfully execute a brand strategy and act as an evangelist for the brand

•Map the main blockers for GoodWe in Greece/Cyprus, collaborate with EMEA Headquarters to build a plan to tackle them.

•Nurture the business relationship with leading PV project developers and key stake holders in the Greek Photovoltaic industry at multiple levels in order to understand customer needs. 

•Be the GoodWe representative at Greek PV association Helapco

•Ensure the "Voice of the Customer” is translated into functional requirements and transferred to internal departments. Understand the target markets, customers, and the customer expectations / requirements. 

•Promote customer understanding of full product portfolio, serve as principal focal contact to customers in the local market, work closely together with internal key teams across EMEA HQ organization including sales, marketing, operation, finance, R&D to ensure the quality and success of activities and solidify our partnership with and commitment to our customers.

•Provide a market and business forecast for this region. 

•Build, consolidate and entrench the brand in Greece/Cyprus

 

Requirements:

 

•Business development expertise with a proven sales track record with tier 1 companies.

•Business closer with excellent negotiation skills

•Strongly networked within the renewable energy industry (preference within the Solar PV industry)

•Ability to influence major stakeholders both internally & externally.

•Strong communication skills including large group presentations & discussions.

•Superior organization skills with the ability to quickly assess priorities.

•Excellent customer relationship management.

•Able to confidently convey product benefits & cost advantages to customers.

•Demonstrate professionalism in working with customer to resolve emergency situations.

 

Desirable Attributes:

 

•Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or of related technical disciplines

•Languages: native Greek, fluent in English. 

•Minimum 7+ years’ solid experience with solar products within photovoltaic industry in Greece preferably with solar inverters. 

•Flexibility in working within fast changing and demanding markets.

•International mindset for a multi-cultural environment.

•Willingness to proactively accommodate national and international travel.

•An energetic, highly motivated and driven person.

•Strong presentation skills.

•Being an InternationalTeam player is essential.
