The brand-new coupling of GoodWe inverters and BYD batteries represents a quantum leap in the energy storage sector. Both the system efficiency and the system stability have been enhanced significantly, further maximizing self-consumption. With regards to the new storage coupling, the storage capacity is extended to a higher level at emergency-backup and off-grid functionality with a total battery capacity up to 22.08 kWh. Direct parallel connection of up to 3 identical Battery-Box Premium HVM allows for a maximum capacity of 66.2 kWh. A high-voltage series connection of the battery enables the system to achieve the highest efficiency. The water- and dustproof rating IP65 (inverter side) and IP55 (battery) protection class open the possibilities for outdoor use. This new combination will no doubt hit the storage market as the showcase example of superb storage technique.
